Lessons are taught year-round on the range, practice areas, or at PrairieFire (Toptracer Range)

Nic Barnes, PGA Class A, leads golf instruction at PrairieView. Nic has a strong background in teaching, and a deep understanding of how the body influences the golf swing. His teaching approach integrates physical awareness with swing fundamentals, helping players build more efficient and sustainable movements on the course.
Nic works with golfers of all levels — from first-time players to competitive athletes — and takes the time to understand each student’s goals, customizing instruction to support meaningful progress.
While a native to the area, Nic has held teaching roles with notable courses such as The Glen Club, Bandon Dunes, and Kauri Cliffs (New Zealand).
